About title

Who we are:

We are a coalition of grassroots radical youth organisations from across the world. ANGRY is a representative body for grassroots youth organisers who are attending or engaging with the UNFCCC process, as well as an open communication channel for those working outside of these processes to follow the proceedings and input on topics which are relevant to their experiences and/or their work.

ANGRY was formed in 2023, because we recognised the lack of a dedicated space for grassroots youth within the UNFCCC process. Grassroots youth organisers have been attending the UNFCCC since its inception, but we have never had a body within the UNFCCC system dedicated to representing us. ANGRY exists to carve out that space, to connect youth organisers both within the UNFCCC space and on the ground, and to ensure that we are heard in this space in a way that we have not been before.
